3 Days Jordan and Petra Tour Plan

Jordan and Petra Tour 1st Day - Border Crossing & Decapolis

We'll set out from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to the border to start our Tour by crossing into Jordan through Sheik Hussein Bridge or Allenby Bridge.
From there we'll drive on to Jerash - city of the Decapolis, about 45לm North of Amman in the highland of Gilad. There we will visit the historical Roman city characterized by its colonnaded streets, famous hot baths and the hill of the top Temple. We'll finish the day in Amman after a city tour of the Jordanian Capital.
Overnight in Amman.

Jordan and Petra Tour 2nd Day - Petra, the amazing "Red Rock City"

The day starts early with a hearty breakfast, a preparation to a day full of wonders. We'll make our way on the road to Wadi Musa and from there on horseback to the "Siq" (canyon). Entry into Petra is done on foot. The ancient capital of the Nabateans known also as "Red Rock City" which dates as far back as back 3rd century B.C. to 2nd Century A.D. Our tour of wonders includes the most intriguing and awe inspiring monuments:


  • The Treasury
  • El Khazneh (a tomb of a Nabatean king)
  • The field of tombs
  • The obelisks
  • The altar, (Al Madhbah)

From the vantage point of the Altar one has a complete view of the whole of Red Rock City. Afterwards we'll drive back Amman to spend the night.

Jordan and Petra Tour 3rd Day - A historical view into the Holy Land

The final day will start at Madaba where we will discover the ancient mosaic map of the Holyland and ruins of historical sites. A short drive to Mount Nebo, to share the views of the Land Promised to his people by the Lord. The extensive outlook includes the Jordan Valley, Jericho, the Dead Sea etc. We'll conclude our Jordan highlights tour with in the remains of a Byzantine church with a mosaic floor, and then drive to the border and to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
